Journal Title: IOSR Journal of Pharmacy and Biological Sciences (IOSR-JPBS) - Year 2017, Vol 12, Issue 4

Abstract

Six compounds from the stems and leaves of Viscum album L. var. coloratum Ohwi were isolated and characterized. The structure of six compounds was elucidated as adenosine (1), thymidine (2), syringing (3), 1,5-dimethyl-6,8-dioxatricyclo[4.2.1.03,9]nonane-3-methyl-2,4-pentadienoic acid (4), homoeriodictyol-7-Oβ-apiosyl-(1→2)-O-β-glucoside (5) and homoeriodictyol-7-O-β-apiosyl-(1→5)-O-β-apiosyl-(1→2)-O-βglucoside (6) based on the NMR and MS spectral evidence.
