Conditions for use Six Sigma™ methodology in the SME sector including the possibilities of using computer applications

Abstract
This paper presents the current solutions for the strategy Six Sigma and for Lean. The main objective of this article is the discussion of characteristics and problems concerning implementation of Six Sigma and computer systems in SME sector. The article presents key methods and tools used by Six Sigma methodology and Lean management. Additionally authors describe the most popular computer applications, which aided Six Sigma and present various computer applications to demonstrate the value of IS/IT in this methodology, and finally, present an actual case where some of these applications were used to help a enterprise to achieve significant cost savings. For better present, how the applications work, authors placed a lot of screens from computer programs. Every picture illustrates examples of tools and models, which are using for Six Sigma.
