Abstract

Congenital heart disease (CHD) is a defect in the structure of the heart and large vessels diagnosed from the moment of birth. The frequency of occurrence varies widely and ranges from 2.4 to 14.15%. Every year, more than 30,000 children with congenital heart defects are born worldwide. For one million of the adult population, there are about 3,500 people with this pathology. Many of these patients are young women planning to carry a pregnancy and give birth to a healthy child.
