Abstract
In this paper the authors aim to present the theoretical study of functionality of clenching mechanisms such as chuck collets, abbreviated MBE. For these chuck collets to function properly, a value for the angle of the collet needs to be set , as well as a range of values for the relative roughness of the contact surfaces
