CONSIDERATIONS REGARDING THE USE OF CHUCK COLLETS IN MECHANICAL SYSTEMS
Journal Title: TEHNOMUS - Year 2011, Vol 18, Issue 1
Abstract
In this paper the authors aim to present the theoretical study of of constructions such as clenching mechanisms with chuck collets. For this to has been modernized the test stand clenching mechanisms with chuck collets existing in the laboratory. Also in the paper were aimed experimental tests of clenching characteristics: clenching stress, dependence of clenching stress upon the main influencing factors

EVALUATION OF TERMO-GAS DYNAMIC PARAMETERS FOR ENGINE BRAKE PROCESS
In this work is presented the mathematical model to calculate the thermo-gas dynamic parameters that define the brake engine. This model can be used both for determining the state of the parameters of the working fluid i...
SOURCES OF POLLUTION IN SIDERURGY AND TECHNIQUES FOR REDUCING NOXIOUS EMISSIONS
The systematic identification of the various sources of pollution creates the necessary background for organizing actions in order to prevent and fight against pollution. The diversity of the sources and forms of polluti...
IMPLEMENTING A SPC INTEGRATED SYSTEM TO IMPROVE MANUFACTURING PROCESSES IN AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY
Nowadays challenges emphasize greatly on the accomplishment of a high level of quality in manufacturing processes, especially in automotive industry. Various methods have been used in order to find ways to organize monit...
APPLICATIONS OF FULL FACTORIAL DESIGN EXPERIMENTS FOR LASER WELDING
Laser welding using Nd: YAG laser with continuous emission is applied for a low alloyed steel. The study pursued molten areas characteristics in the material. On the weld cross section was measured weld width, weld depth...
SYNTHESIS ON THE ASSESSMENT OF CHIPS CONTRACTION COEFFICIENT Cd
The assessment of plastic deformation of chips can be done based on theoretical and experimental considerations. This paper presents the two ways of assessing the chips contraction coefficient, namely the theoretical and...
