CURRENT SITUATION AND PROSPECTS OF MEDIATION IN UZBEKISTAN

Journal Title: International scientific journal Science and Innovation - Year 2024, Vol 3, Issue 10

Abstract

Mediation as a method of alternative dispute resolution is gradually gaining popularity in Uzbekistan. Since the adoption of the Mediation Law in 2018, the country's legal system has actively begun to integrate this tool into civil, family, labor, and commercial relations. The law not only establishes a legal framework but also clearly regulates the rights and obligations of both mediators and the parties involved in the process, making mediation a legitimate and effective means of resolving conflicts.
