DEFINITION OF STRATEGY MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR OF LOCOMOTIVES WHEN EXTENDING SERVICE LIFE

Abstract
In connection with the physical and moral wear and tear of rolling stock in modern conditions an important direction of ensuring the efficiency of rail transport in the future is the rational use of rolling stock operated within the designated and extended service life. The extension of the lifespan of the locomotives should be carried out by maintaining the optimum ratio adjustment measures of the timing and technology of maintenance, PR and training for repair facilities. In the face of the ageing of traction rolling stock (TRS) is locomotives and non-tractive - wagons required, the forced prolongation of term of its operation. Change of technical condition of locomotives in the period planetrating lifetime requires selection of optimum maintenance strategies and current repairs (CR). It should take into account the need to adjust the time and amount of work on the CR. The basis of the optimization strategy, CR locomotives, it makes sense to incorporate components of cost changes over the period of extended operation.
