DEMOGRAPHIC SITUATION IN UKRAINE: REALITIES AND PERSPECTIVES

Abstract
The article analyzes the peculiarities of the demographic situation in Ukraine characterized by a decrease in the birth rate, an increase in mortality and a negative natural increase. The main factors influencing the demographic development of the country are considered. The deepening of deformation of family processes, reduction of the status of motherhood and the value of children in the life of the family are analyzed.
