Design and Development of Pneumatic Cotton Boll Picking Machine
Journal Title: International Journal of Mechanical and Production Engineering Research and Development (IJMPERD ) - Year 2017, Vol 7, Issue 5
Abstract
This paper focuses on design and development of a new machine, to pick cotton bolls. In India, entire cotton is handpicked by labour, and internationally available machines for picking the cotton bolls are costlier and not affordable to Indian farmers. Also, these machines are not suitable for Indian farming condition. Pneumatic cotton boll picking machine, will give a new technology in the field of agriculture which is helpful for Indian farmers.

Usage of the Modified Variational Iteration Technique for Solving Fredholm Integro-Differential Equations
In this paper, we present a modified variational iteration method for solving Fredholm integro-differential equations. This study provides an analytical approximation to determine the behavior of the solution. Moreover,...
A Method for Reducing the Tooth Profile Errors of the Spur Gears in the Hobbing Process
The gear hobbing process is one of the most common and economical methods to machine the involute gear. The tooth profile deviations of the hobbed gears were caused by machine errors, hob errors and the deviation of the...
A High Step-UP DC/DC Converter for Marine Applications
In this paper, a voltage-doubler circuit with high step-up dc-dc converter has been proposed. This proposed converter minimises low voltage stress on the MOSFET switches and high voltage gain with suitable duty ratio and...
Review of Current Technology in Glass Fibre Composite
The aim of this work is to study the properties of glass fibre using different types of compositions. In the present paper, we review the current scenario of manufacture and properties of GFRP. In the glass fibre composi...
A CASE STUDY ON RESPONSE OF ALLOY GEAR STEELS TO CASE CARBURIZING AND IT’S EFFECT ON WEIGHT OPTIMIZATION OF A TRANSMISSION SYSTEM
The strength of a material is a very crucial design parameter from an engineer’s standpoint for designing a mechanical system with a primary design objective of optimization or minimization of system weight. This is part...
