Abstract
The article investigates quite active in mass media text determinologization process – the phenomenon of migration terms beyond their terminological, caused the search for new means of imagery. Linguistic and extralinguistic factors contributing determinologization of conventional terms are found, terminology particularly favorable to rethinking is identified.
