DIDACTIC ESSENCE OF INTEGRATION AND WAYS OF ITS REALIZATION IN THE PROCESS OF TEACHING MATHEMATICS AT THE INSTITUTION OF PRESCHOOL EDUCATION AND ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Abstract
The article raises the problem of finding the ways and means of implementing an integrated approach into the process of teaching children of preschool age and students of junior elementary school. An attempt has been made to prove that integrated lessons (classes) in the system of teaching on calendar-thematic planning, will contribute to the formation of the child’s integral picture of the world, a comprehensive analysis of the subject, the phenomenon, the search for mathematical relationships and dependencies, the application of mathematical knowledge in the implementation of practical activities. Some aspects of integration in didactics are considered in the article, which allow systematizing knowledge, creating favorable conditions of the implementation of personally oriented, developmental education of children of preschool age and junior pupils. The effectiveness of primary education is associated with the implementation of the competent approach and the strengthening of the activities of the organization of training. This will be facilitated by changes in approaches to the preparation and conduct of classes, lessons (certain structuring, establishing inter-subject relationships and constructing on the basis of inter-subject integration). Thus, the search for ways to improve the system of education in pre-school and elementary schools has led to the actualization of such a methodical phenomenon as integration in the educational process, which is gradually moving from the plane of discussion into practice. The purpose of our article is to analyze the didactic essence of integration and its methods of realization in the process of teaching mathematics at the institution of preschool education and elementary school in the context of the introduction of the ideas of New Ukrainian School.
