Diet Therapy in Infants with Rotavirus Infection

Abstract
In 65 children aged 3–18 months with rotavirus gastroenteritis, we have studied the effectiveness of using lactose-free formula in the diet therapy. It was found that lactose-free diet in patients contributes to a positive dynamics of the main clinical symptoms, accelerates the normalization of stool, improves appetite, helps to stop vomiting. Application of diet therapy accelerated the normalization of laboratory parameters of patients.
