DIRECTION OF PROFESSIONAL TRAINING CONTENT AS PEDAGOGICAL CONDITION FOR DEVELOPMENT OF AIR TRAFFIC CONTROLLERSʼ PROFESSIONAL REFLECTION

Abstract

The article deals with one of the pedagogical conditions for development of air traffic controllersʼ professional reflection in professional training. It is revealed the essence of notions "content", "professional training", "educational content". Itʼs determined that the educational content is one of the main components, which forms the educational process and is predetermined by the level of development of science and social experience of mankind. The marked are directions for professional training in modern higher educational establishments; factors, that characterize the peculiarities of specialistʼs personal development in high school. The essence of the principle of knowledge practical application is revealed. The educational plans for the subjects, which are taught for qualification "Air traffic control" at the flight academy, are analyzed. Itʼs noted that direction of professional training content to development of air traffic controllersʼ professional reflection is one of the pedagogical conditions, which is necessary for efficient professional activity of future air traffic controllers. Itʼs grounded the practicability of application of mentioned above pedagogical condition in professional training for the reflexive thinking development and realizing further professional growth. In the authorʼs opinion, the emphasized pedagogical condition gives an opportunity to direct the educational content of future air traffic controllersʼ professional training to getting reflexive knowledge, skills, for the students to realize their valuable living space and to see its connection with the chosen profession. The professional training of future air traffic controllers should be provided by scientifically grounded system of didactic and methodical educational material and determined by the educational – professional programmes, which contain standard and optional educational content, taking into account the issues of continuity and gradation of professional training. Finally, the author presumes that direction of professional training content in the flight academy to development of studentsʼ professional reflection, according to modern aviation demands, will be just that pedagogical condition, which will promote the development of air traffic controllersʼ professional reflection.
