Abstract
The chosen theme reveals the period of D.M. Gnatyuk's entry into the light of opera and directorial mastery. By fixing the problem in the coordinates of chronological structuring, we have the opportunity to track the dynamics of the director's drama of the artist, due to the reflection of the sociocultural and state policy, captured by interpretative solutions in Ukrainian scenography.
