Dynamics of indexes and relative productivity of crowns of artifical Scots pine stands in different density regimes in Steppe zone

Abstract

The long-termed dynamics of indices and relative productivity of crowns are investigated in atrifical Scots pine stands which were grown in regimes of different density in fresh fairly infertile pine site type. It was concluded that the average relative productivity of crowns in pine stands diminishes as far as the areas of crown projections and volumes of crowns increase. The average relative productivity of stands having the same areas of crown projections and volumes of crowns rises with the increase of age of stands.
