ECOLOGICAL EDUCATION IN CHEMICAL DISCIPLINES

Abstract
Introduction. The principles of ecological security are determined by the Constitution and laws of Ukraine, which guarantee the ecological safety of human life, which is an indispensable condition for sustainable economic and social development of the state. However, with the development of modern production and services, there are disturbances in nature, which lead to acute environmental problems. Since these problems are predominantly of chemical nature, the acquisition of environmental knowledge in chemical disciplines teaching is an integral part of the process of studying them. The analysis of ecological aspects when acquiring a specialty of the natural sciences is directed at the cultivation of high humanistic values and guidelines of specialists’ activities for the benefit of humanity and the natural environment. Methods. The basis of scientific research was the general theoretical and methodological principles concerning the influence of chemical pollutants of the environment and possible ways that would ensure reduction of their impact. Results. The article considers and analyzes the possible variants of the influence of different substances on the environment and human activity, which are studied in various topics of chemical disciplines and possible ways of reducing their effect. This position allows us to shape the ecological culture and behavior of a future professional. Discussion. Systematization and analysis of chemical processes and the influence of various substances makes it possible to emphasize them in the study of certain topics of the course, to achieve their mastery by students and to form positions for the use of the acquired knowledge in practice and careful attitude to the environment.
