ECONOMIC ESSENCE BANKING CAPITAL

Abstract
The need to ensure sufficient stability of the banking system leads to an objective need for additional equity, which was the motive scientific understanding of its nature as an economic category. This article summarizes the main approaches to the definition of «capital» and «bank capital». The analysis defining the essence of capital depending on the time period and the economic development and economic thought. The modern definition of «capital of the bank.» A generalized definition of «bank capital».
