Abstract

As a Vascular Surgeon with more than 18 years of experience, I have been dealing, as most of my colleagues, with maybe the most demanding vascular condition, the Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD). The increasing development of surgical techniques, especially in the endovascular field, and the continuous arrival of new tools in our operating rooms, allow us today to treat patients that until a few years ago we would have considered without any surgical option.
