Abstract
The text focuses on such issues as culture, literature, art, values. It refers to the relation between pedagogy of culture and literature, but first of all the hero of this text is a reporter, writer Ryszard Kapuściński. In this essay I want to show how the author’s statements contribute to the achievement of the objectives underlying the pedagogy of culture. The statement is an attempt of identifying the pedagogical potential inherent in contemporary literature, pointing to the relationship between literature and education.<br/><br/>
