Effect of Yttrium Oxide Impurities on the Structure and Properties of Metallic Hafnium
Journal Title: Фізика і хімія твердого тіла - Year 2016, Vol 17, Issue 2
Abstract
The influence of yttrium oxide impurity content of 0 to 0.4 wt.% on the structure and microhardness metal hafniuminvestigated. It is shown that grain size decreases and the Microhardness of hafnium increases monotonically with increasing content of impurities, while increasing Y2O3 content more than 0.3 wt.% is cracking material.

Transformations of Titanium (IV) Butoxide on Magnetite Surface in the Presence of Pluronic P-123
The technique of producing magnetically operated nanocomposites Fe3O4/TiO2 with high specific surface area (to 320 m2/g) was developed. A copolymer poly(ethylene glycol)-block-poly(propylene glycol)-block-poly(ethylene g...
Influence of Operating Conditions on Structure and Physical Properties of Polymeric Materials
The changes of structure and physical properties of polymeric materials that exploited in a long time with complex mechanical loads used in pipe systems for high-pressure cold water have been studied. A significant reduc...
Electrical transport properties of R3Ag4Sn4 compounds (R = Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho)
Electrical transport properties of the R3Ag4Sn4 (R = Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho) intermetallics crystallized in the orthorhombic Gd3Cu4Ge4 structure type (space group Immm) were studied in the temperature interval 11-300 K. Measurem...
Review of Theory of Mesocopic Systems
In the framework of this work an overview of the theory of mesoscopic systems is made. The main effects of mesoscopic systems are noted, it is determined that the macroscopic characteristics of the system are significant...
The Structure, Optical and Thermoelectric Properties of Vapor-Phase PbTe:Sb/(0001) Mica Condensates
There is spending the study of vapor-phase thin film PbTe:Sb structures, which have been obtained in open vacuum on (0001) mica - muscovite brand MTA . Using atomic force microscopy (AFM) there is revealed that the origi...
