Evolution of nutrition system of the population of independent Ukraine

Abstract

The analysis of nutrition of the population of Ukraine for the period from 1990 to 2017 is presented, as well as the nutritional composition of the minimal set of food products (food consumer basket) for persons belonging to the main social and demographic groups has been characterised. Study of nutrition of the population was based on the method of balance calculations. The peculiarities of nutrition of the population of Ukraine, as well as positive and negative trends of changes in nutrition were determined.
