EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON THE DRYING OF PARSNIP IN A ROTATING-PULSED FLUIDIZED BED

Abstract
Drying of parsnip cubes in a rotating-pulsed fluidized bed under varying process parameters was studied. Three different drying temperatures were applied: 40°C, 50°C and 60°С. The impact on the process of the disc rotation frequency creating the pulsations of the drying agent was surveyed. Studies were carried out at different velocities of the drying agent and different loading of the supporting grid. Drying curves were generated characterizing each experiment.
