FEATURES OF ADMINISTRATIVE AND LEGAL STATUS OF ADVOCATES IN UKRAINE

Abstract
The article analyzes the administrative and legal status of lawyers in Ukraine and specifies that the specialty of the administrative and legal status of a lawyer is that an individual may be a lawyer who has a complete higher legal education, has a state language, has experience in the field of law no less than two years, passed the qualifying exam, passed an internship, took an oath of attorney of Ukraine and received a certificate of the right to practice advocacy and to be in the register of lawyers of Ukraine, has common rights and obligations, in its activities, there is a cross-sectoral nature (admin- istrative, criminal, civil). The peculiarity of protecting a lawyer’s rights and freedoms is the existence of a signed agreement on protection and the provision of a warrant to the relevant authorities.
