FEATURES OF ULTRASOUND EXAMINATION IN THE DIAGNOSIS OF INTRAVENTRICULAR HEMORRHAGE OF THE BRAIN IN CHILDREN

Journal Title: International scientific journal Science and Innovation - Year 2024, Vol 3, Issue 12

Abstract

Changes in cerebral blood flow parameters cannot be considered a direct sign of intraventricular hemorrhage (IVH), but they reflect a non-specific response of cerebral hemodynamics to increased intracranial pressure during IVH and characterize the overall severity of brain damage. Doppler ultrasound examination of cerebral blood flow plays an auxiliary role in diagnosing IVH, but undoubtedly has significant prognostic value.
