FORMATION OF PROFESSIONAL LINGUISTIC CULTURE OF STUDENTS-CONSTRUCTORS

Abstract

Abstract. In the new socio-economic conditions, professional higher education confirms its high status, as it will contribute to the transition to a European society, and, consequently, to the formation of priorities for the development of the state. In this process, highly educated youth are the main strategic reserve of socio-economic reforms in Ukraine, without which further development of society is impossible. Culture of speech is one of the most important indicators of civilization of society. After all, the process of mastering the language and its culture is connected with the acquisition and development of skills to speak and write correctly, to be able to accurately formulate and express their opinions, to actively use language skills in communication and to apply them competently. The theoretical basis of the culture of speech is the knowledge and comprehension of linguistic norms, the peculiarities of the functioning of the literary language styles, the awareness of the interconnections of the language system, the structure of speech and extra-linguistic structures; practical – the systematic attention of the speaker to the language and level of his own speech, the desire to achieve speech skills. It is impossible to achieve a high level of the culture of speech without the high linguistic consciousness of the native speaker, the love of language, the constant need to analyze, refine, and grind their own speech. It is necessary to think carefully to read works of masters of different styles, to master language norms, to follow their changes, to avoid mixing of speech phenomena, manifestations of interference (use of elements of different languages); to critically treat the written and spoken word, not to follow "trendy" tendencies in the use of foreign language words, slang-cliches (stable combinations used in certain situations), terminology, telegraphic style of speech, deliberate simplicity, etc.
