Abstract
In this article considered the non-regular states of the generator control system caused by the physical properties of the plasma, and the condition of a functionally stable control aimed at eliminating the consequences of failures and maintaining the function of the system is formed. Achievement of functional stability of control is provided by means of redistribution of system resources. In traditional systems of automatic control resources (energy, computing, information) that are allocated to management are rigidly fixed between the respective channels. The use of a functional-stable system makes it possible to work with a non-stationary plasma environment for the operational application of a nanostructured multi-component coating on the basis of tungsten-carbides. Coating using tungsten carbides (WC) and rare earth impurities is one of the most common in the manufacture of tools that require high hardness, corrosion resistance, wear resistance. Vacuum methods of applying tungsten carbides consist of sputtering of tungsten targets with the addition of carbide-forming gas, or direct sputtering of targets from WC in one of the types of plasma generators (GPs).
