GENDER DIALECTICS IN THE STRUCTURE OF THE ORGANIZATION OF THE ARCHAIC SOCIETY
Journal Title: Наукові праці. Серія "Політологія" - Year 2018, Vol 314, Issue 302
Abstract
Analysis of political-anthropological research gives reasons to assert that modern societies retain almost all types of authourity relations inherent in the initial stages of sociogenesis: 1) for representatives of various modern social systems, as well as for a per-son, a traditional society, sometimes it is characteristic for an unconscious execution of certain actions because a person in the course of his life constantly encounters such situations and reacts to them automatically, that is, without rational comprehension; 2) traditions that defined the social life of the individuals of the archaic society, including in the sphere of authority relations also exist nowadays, but in a somewhat modified form. The idea of a relationship between authority and time, rooted in the early stages of human history, can be observed in modern developed societies. Today it’s hard to imagine that a candidate who would argue that he does not know what his country needs, what will happen to her tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, and during the entire term of his authority, is going to be victorious in the elections. The idea of the relationship of authority and age which is certainly observed in various traditional societies, emerged at the initial stages of human history and thereby is one of the characteristic properties of sociality in general and the political sphere in particular. This norm of social behavior has not disappeared eventually and still dominates nowadays in the relations between representatives of different generations and ages, including in the political sphere. A vivid example is the US Congress and modern Japan. Gender determination, unlike the age determination is more typical for developing countries that retain many features of pre-industrial and industrial societies whereas in developed Western democracies the difference between men and women in all spheres of life, including in the sphere of authority relations, is almost completely leveled
