GHOST IN THE POETRY OF VASILY ZHUKOVSKY AND KONSTANTIN BATYUSHKOV

Abstract
In the period of romanticism in the phenomenon of phantom correspond to the concept of romantic daemonia. We have identified two main types of the phenomenon of the Ghost, the origin of which is closely related to folklore. The first type has an extremely abstract terms, and is the bearer of the positive characteristics that have a positive effect on the character. This phenomenon of the Ghost found in the works of V. A. Zhukovsky “Slav”, “the Mysterious visitor” and K. N. Batiushkov “Shadow friend”. The second type has a particular description that is capable of influencing the surrounding reality and having the main character a negative impact. This type is closely associated with various folklore stories awesome character, and the final artworks can be quite varied, depending on the wish of the author. This phenomenon of the Ghost found in the works of V. Zhukovsky’s “Ludmila” and “Svetlana”.
