IARTSUNIULIIA.YOUTH OF KYIV PROVINCE IN SOCIAL AND POLITICAL LIFE OF THE POLISH GENTRY (1830–1831 AND 1863)

Abstract
Exploring the aspects of the inclusion of young people in the social and political life of the gentry in the context of the every day life history during the period of the November (1830–1831) and January Uprisings (1863) within Kyiv province, the author pays attention to the fact that the events of the two Polish Uprisings changed the environment of the existence of Polish youth radically regardless of whether they personally supported the ideas of the national liberation struggle or not. Firstly, the author emphasizes that Russian authoritie schose education as the most powerful in stitution for the formation of self-consciousness of anindividual to influence the Polish young generation and, at the same time, the most convenient one to implement the control and prohibition policies. Secondly, young people became the part of the driving force of the Polish uprisings as the most sensitive element to anychangesin society and to okan active partin the struggle for the ideals of the independence of the Common wealth.
