Image Enhancement for Visual Impairments
Journal Title: International Journal of Electronics Communication and Computer Technology - Year 2015, Vol 5, Issue 2
Abstract
Image Enhancement techniques which improve the quality (clarity) of images for human viewing, removing blurring and noise, increasing contrast, and revealing. This enhancer accommodates most of the image enhancement techniques with a user input interface, which can be used to combine two or more of these techniques. The existing techniques of image enhancement can be classified into three categories: Spatial Domain, Frequency domain and Histogram Equalization. In spatial domain method pixel values may be modified according to rules that depend on the original pixel value, frequency domain techniques are suited for processing the image according to the frequency content and histogram equalization assigns the intensity values of pixels in the input image such that the output image contains a uniform distribution of intensities.

Text to Speech Conversion with Phonematic Concatenation
This paper presents a method to design a Text to Speech conversion module by the use of Matlab by simple matrix operations. Firstly by the use of microphone some similar sounding words are recorded using a record program...
Design Of Wide Band Microstrip Bandstop Filter With Open-Circuited Stubs For Wireless Communication Applications
Filters play an important role in most RF and Microwave applications. Currently, the electromagnetic spectrum is limited, and the applications are restricted to occupy just a portion of frequency range without affecting...
A Web Usage Mining Framework for Business Intelligence
In this paper, we introduce a web mining solution to business intelligence to discover hidden patterns and business strategies from their customer and web data. We propose a new framework based on web mining technology....
Congnitive Radio Networks Using Orthoganal Frequency Spectrum Sensing
”Cognitive Radio is a radio for wireless communications in which either a network or a wireless node changes its transmission or reception parameters based on the interaction with the environment to communicate effic...
SNR Improvement of MST Radar Signals Usings Combinational Window Functions
In this paper the effect of window shape parameter ‘?’ in Combinational window functions on the signal to noise ratio (SNR) values of the Indian Mesosphere-StratosphereTroposphere (MST) radar is computed. The six parts...
