IMPACTUL EVENIMENTELOR ȘI FENOMENELOR EXTREME ASUPRA INFRASTRUCTURILOR CRITICE

Abstract
Fenomenele meteorologice și geofizice extreme care s-au produs în Europa şi în întreaga lume în ultimii ani au ridicat probleme deosebit de complexe legate de organizarea şi gestionarea infrastructurilor critice, supuse din ce în ce mai mult unui nivel de risc extrem. Totodată, există numeroase incertitudini şi lipsă acută de informaţii cu privire la modul în care infrastructurile critice ar trebui să fie gestionate atunci când sunt supuse la astfel de evenimente. Haosul şi nesiguranţa în aceste situaţii pot duce la întreruperi în transporturi, în distribuţia de energie şi, în cazurile cele mai grave, chiar la pierderi de vieţi omeneşti. Această lucrare încearcă să scoată în evidenţă importanţa protecţiei mediului în asigurarea funcţionării sistemelor de infrastructuri critice.
