INDIVIDUAL AUTHOR'S METAPHORS IN GERMAN ECONOMIC MEDIA DISCOURSE

Abstract
The article deals with individual author's metaphors in German economic media discourse. The concept of individual author's metaphors is defined and their main characteristics are considered. The main trends in the use of individual-author's metaphors in German economic media discourse are discovered. The research is carried out in the context of the theory of linguistic personality. Individual author's metaphors are seen as a form of realization of linguistic personality of a journalist.
