INDUSTRIAL POTENTIAL AND TENDENCIES OF ITS DEVELOPMENT IN UKRAINE

Abstract
The results of the research of industrial potential of Ukraine indicate that it is a dynamic system, basic elements of which are social and labour, industrial and economic, finance and investment, and innovative components. Outlined negative tendencies confirm the existence of significant problems in the industrial potential development, which evolved in Ukraine for the last years. It is determined that in order to get effective industrial potential development it is necessary to create favourable investment climate in the country; stimulate the growth of the employment level of population in the industrial sector; carry out renovation of the existent material-technical base and encourage the introduction of innovations in order to overcome the delay of Ukraine from other countries in technological and economic development.
