Abstract
The article is devoted to the legal and regulatory bases of functioning of the institution extradition in Ukraine, the ques- tions of the admissibility of criminal procedure compulsion. In this regard: the arrest, other preventive measures. Particular attention is focusing on the balance between coercion and respect for fundamental rights and freedoms.
