Abstract
The article shows the importance of glycemic control in patients with diabetes and the role of insulin in maintaining blood glucose at the right level. The characteristic of modern insulins is given, an emphasis was made on ease of use injection pen SoloStar® for administration of preparations of genetically engineered human Insuman® Rapid, Insuman® Basal and Insuman® Comb 25.
