Integrated Application of Precision Fertilization Technology in Conservation Tillage of Dryland in Northern Liaoning Province
Journal Title: Journal of Shenyang Agricultural University - Year 2025, Vol 56, Issue 2
Abstract
[Objective]Addressing the issues of difficult calibration and poor control precision of fertilization rate, and low level of intelligence in fertilization machinery for conservation tillage in dryland areas of Northern Liaoning, an intelligent and precise fertilization control system based on electro-hydraulic drive technology has been integrated and developed, aiming to enhance the precision and intelligence level of fertilization operations. [Methods]The system utilizes an encoder-GNSS combined speed measurement technology, coupled with electro-hydraulic proportional control technology, to achieve real-time and precise regulation of fertilizer metering rate. The system forwards operational information to a server through terminal devices, enabling remote monitoring of fertilization operations. The system was equipped to a 2-row finger-clamp type corn no-till fertilization seeder, and the tests of calibration and control error of fertilizer metering rate were conducted. [Results]The results showed that the average error in fertilization control was less than 5%. The system was demonstrated in a conservation tillage area of 57 hm2 in Changtu, Liaoning, with a fertilization error of 1.8%, further verifying the system′s precision and stability in fertilization control.[Conclusion]The intelligent precision fertilization control system can effectively improve the precision and efficiency of fertilization operations in the dryland conservation tillage of Northern Liaoning, which is of great significance for soil conservation and capacity enhancement.
