La traduction des notices pharmaceutiques en Algérie et dans le monde arabe

Journal Title: In Translation / في الترجمة - Year 2016, Vol 3, Issue 1

Abstract

Some of the pragmatic factors in translation are the technical language and the specific message; this is why the data collection is necessary. Hence, the present study attempts to discover the relationship between the translation of pharmaceutical leaflets and the translation market in Algeria and the Arab World. One of the major problems facing the translator is how to make his text : Should he bring the drug to the market or save the lives of patients and change the course of their destinies for the best, by using a common vocabulary and even scholarly terms ?
