Abstract
Іs dedicated to the problem of relationship between language, thought and art, beginning with the primitive society up to the present stage of their development. The main idea of the article is that common as well as specific features of language and art are determined by the forms of thought that dominate in either of these phenomena – predicativeness or predication, and by the dialectics of the relationship of the latter.
