LEGAL BASIS FOR THE EUROPEAN UNION AND UNESCO COOPERATION IN THE EDUCATIONAL SPHERE

Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the peculiarities of the international legal cooperation between the European Union and UNESCO on education. The author directly establishes the commonality in educational policies of the two organizations and defines the legal foundations and main directions of this cooperation.
