Legal status of a peasant in the context of sustainable development of rural territories

Abstract
In the article the legal status of a peasant in the context of sustainable development of rural territories has been investigated. It was found that such concepts as peasant and agricultural production have a stable relationship and according to this at the legislative level to popularize the brand of Ukrainian peasantry as a producer of quality products that provides food security and supports the health of the nation was proposed. It was concluded that agrarian production should be developed on the basis of the principle of peasant-centricism.
