Lithuanian metrica: historical source of urban law of Ukraine of XV–XVIII centuries

Abstract
The article deals with the historical and legal analysis of the Lithuanian metric as a complex of sources of urban law of Ukraine of the XV–XVIII centuries, describes the periods of its formation according to the functional purpose. The set of doc- uments of the archive fund of the Lithuanian metrica concerning the history of the law of Ukraine in general and the history of urban law of Ukrainian cities in particular are determined.
