MAINTENANCE FUNCTION OF INSURANCE IN THE JUDICIAL PROTECTION OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

Abstract
The article studies the security function of insurance during judicial protection of intellectual property rights. The issues of influence of insurance on the access to justice through security of legal costs in particularly for judicial assistance and representing in courts are explored in the article. The possibility of Insurance Institute to ensure the prohibition by third parties in respect of intellectual property rights (IPRs) and also observance by such parties of legal provisions and commitment not to violate IPRs was analyzed.
