MANAGEMENT OF DEVELOPMENT FOR GENERIC COMPETENCE OF PHD STUDENTS: EXPERIENCE OF THE UNITED KINGDOM AND NORTHERN IRELAND

Abstract
The article presents the experience of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland in the preparation of applicants for the third scientific-educational level of higher education (PhD) based on a competency approach. The modern tendencies of management of development of general competences of applicants for the third (educational-scientific) level of higher education in the context of ensuring the quality of doctoral education are analyzed.
