Mapping of Research Productivity in Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya: A Scientometric Study

Abstract
This paper discusses about the published research articles and their citations available in the Indian Citation Index by the authors from Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya. The relevant data was collected from Indian Citation Index and it was analyzed. It shows among the articles 2298, the maximum of 259 (11.27%) articles were published in 2004 and minimum of 141 (6.14%) articles were published in 2011. Based on the citations during the period, 1574 citations were made and maximum of 377 (23.95%) citations in 2004 followed by 273 (17.34%) in the year 2005 were identified.
