Mode of machining of a round thread with a large step

Abstract
The modification of the realization method for processing internal rope threads [14], using additional equipment, namely a monotooth tool that has the ability of outer cylindrical surface treatment, and the boring system, has allowed to adapt the mentioned above method for making external threads. During adaptation, a machining technology has been developed to allow producing an external rope thread of any size in one passage of the tool. The created technology of machining provided an opportunity for conducting research, as a result of which it was established the possibility of processing the external threaded surface. The study also allows to produce metal joints with an external large pitch rope thread. It should also be noted that the method does not require the use of specific high-cost equipment for cutting external large pitch rope threads.
