Model of developing student English teachers’ language assessment literacy

Abstract
In the article there is a generalized description of the structure of the model of the teaching process in universities and components of the model of developing language assessment literacy. Definitions of the model of the teaching process and, thus, the definition of our model has been formulated. The article contains the scheme and detailed description of the model of the teaching process, which demanded giving the characteristics of the target group of students. Methods, regimes, teaching techniques are enumerated. The principles of the teacher’s and students’ activity are characterized. The list of modules and topics are offered to be covered in the process of developing the competency. The author has made the structural functional model of the teaching process in order to build the system of implementation of the methodology of developing language assessment literacy which could contribute to the efficacy of student teachers’ preparation, the ones competent in providing fair assessment.
