MODELLING ECONOMIC CONSEQUENCES OF IMPLEMENTATION OF CHARGES ON HIGHWAYS AND ROADS OF LOWER CLASSES IN THE SLOVAK REPUBLIC

Abstract
This article presents the problems of prepayment of highways, high-speed roads and selected sections of roads of the first class network of roads in the Slovak Republic, especially the positive and negative impact of prepayment on commercial traffic behavior. The economic effects of prepayment go towards the positive impact. They will include revenue for next development of roads and highways network. The charge will depend on traffic loads. These charges present real utilizations of roads or highways network. Every user will pay in equity. The main negative impact will be the increase of traffic loads on parallel roads. This increase raised the external and operating loads.
