MONITORING OF TRANSPORT FUNCTIONING WHILE INTERNATIONAL TRANSPORTATION
Journal Title: Вісник Кременчуцького національного університету імені Михайла Остроградського - Year 2018, Vol 1, Issue 113
Abstract
Purpose. The purpose of the article is to find out the means of monitoring of transport functioning while internation-al transportation. For managers of the transport company it is not enough to obtain information about the current loca-tion and speed of the vehicle. Identification, classification and prevention of problems that arise during transportation is much more important. In addition, the various geographic areas through which transportation routes run are character-ized by their own characteristics. These are border and customs control, criminal cases, natural disasters, etc. Sometimes a simple failure to comply with the temporary arrival at the border checkpoint leads to a daily delay of the car. There-fore, the task of controlling the mode of movement of the car develops into the task of creating tools and technologies for identifying problem situations and zones. The solution to this problem will help reduce the level of uncertainty in the planning and regulation of transport. Results. A conceptual ontological model of the problem area of functioning of in-ternational freight transport has been formed. The model makes it possible to structure the incoming data to identify problem situations and problem areas. A mathematical description of the transport fleet as a dynamic system based on a finite-automaton model is formed. This allows us to uniformly describe the entire set of properties and states of all vehicles. The dynamics of the functioning of the fleet is described by a system of transition functions. Improved method of monitoring the functioning of transport has been developed. The method is distinguished by the possibility of identify-ing and classifying problem zones and situations on routes through the use of a set of structured geographic and dynamic data. Practical value. The implementation of the models and the monitoring method allows the user to get a complete statistical picture of the events along the routes. As data on problem situations and corresponding zones are accumulat-ed, the manager can concentrate on such zones and, if possible, prevent the occurrence of problem situations by taking adequate decisions. This reduces the level of uncertainty in transport planning and laying routes in the regions. Refer-ences 12.
