Multiculturalism and European Traditionalism in the Context of National Identity Analysis.

Abstract
In the article peculiarities of multiculturalism and traditionalism in the context of their influence on national identity formation are revealed. If the policy of multiculturalism is aimed at the opportunity preservation of cultural diversity on the basis of multiculturalism, tolerance and mutual patience principles within traditionalism orientation on preservation of established principles and rules of titular nation as well as ethnic cultural traditions of immigrants' unification are justified. The analysis of correlation between the concept of multiculturalism and migration crisis in Europe of 2013–2017 is emphasized. Despite irreversible nature of globalization multiculturalism failure as an effective mechanism of cross-cultural communication confirms necessity of alternative strategies of interaction between representatives of various ethnic and religious communities' formation. The author proved that in situation of modern society overtransitivity traditionalism may be an effective alternative to multiculturalism. Social and technological progress as traditionalists understand them is based on not only in the spiritual and moral development of a person but also should precede economic and political transformation. However, the use of traditionalist approaches in post-industrial society should be based on sustainable correlation between different compound parts of social system formation which would make it possible to balance unification and preservation of socio-cultural identity, respect for tradition and the Other's rights and freedoms, desire for enrichment and the threat of deepening individual and social poverty.
