Dividends and Share Repurchase — Case Study of Selected Companies Listed on Warsaw Stock Exchange

Abstract
The paper refers to share repurchase and dividends due to increasing importance of share repurchase, especially in developed countries. The aim of the article is to analyse the implementation of share repurchase by companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, paying regular dividends in years 2005–2009. The paper is divided into a theoretical part, where the author conducts theoretical considerations about dividends and share repurchases and an empi-rical part, where the result of own researches are presented.
